About the Matisse Cut-Out template
Bold paper shapes overlap and intersect against warm stone-white background, each cutout rendered in liquid cyan—the visual language of twentieth-century modernist painting and paper collage. Your signup sits as the central composition drawing the eye naturally to action. Track how visitors interact with this composition through real-time analytics that map user attention and focus patterns across design.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Cutpaper, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Collage, but on your phone.” and the subhead says “Tear, cut and arrange colorful shapes into posters with your fingers. Surprisingly addictive, zero skill needed.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Matisse Cut-Out, you replace Cutpaper with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Matisse Cut-Out is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a vivid cyan accent (#22d3ee) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with leaves tumbling through the frame, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Editorial layout, shared with 55 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Matisse Cut-Out's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Matisse Cut-Out stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Cezanne Apple is also light but leans on a red accent and watercolour washes bleeding together (“Still-life ochre, table”). Monet Pond is also light but leans on an emerald accent and ripples spreading across still water (“Water lilies, soft brush”). Starry Night flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a vivid amber accent and an animated swirl layer (“Swirling cobalt, yellow stars”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
