About the Mondrian Grid template
Black lines carving white canvas into primary-colored geometry—this template channels Mondrian's belief that abstract composition speaks louder than representation, using bold red accent to punctuate negative space. The stark grid creates visual tension, forcing your copy to fight for attention against the design's screaming composition. Art galleries, avant-garde startups, and design-first brands will recognize this as 20th-century modernism rendered digital; custom domains for Pro let you host this manifesto on your own URL.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Blockout, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Plan your week in primary colors.” and the subhead says “A time-blocking app that turns your calendar into a bold grid you actually want to look at.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mondrian Grid, you replace Blockout with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mondrian Grid is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#000000) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 20.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with Bauhaus circles, squares and bars, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Brutalist layout, shared with 39 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mondrian Grid's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Mondrian Grid stands out for its red accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Klimt Gold flips to a dark near-black canvas with a vivid amber accent and threads of gold weaving through (“Hammered gold, geometric”). Basquiat is also light but leans on a red accent and an animated brush layer (“Crown scratch, bold scrawl”). Rothko flips to a dark brown canvas with a vivid amber accent and an animated fields layer (“Two soft fields, contemplative”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
