About the Linocut Print template

Linocut Print recreates the bold relief of hand-carved printmaking—pure black on cream, a palette of craft and deliberate limitation. Perfect for indie publishers, letterpress studios, and artisanal makers who celebrate tactile media, it's a love letter to printshops and bookbinding. Each page element feels stamped rather than rendered, creating an immediate sense of intentionality. Track which communities of makers discover you fastest with Qubed's referral leaderboard.

What the demo shows

The live demo on this page launches Linoleum Press, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Posters carved, not rendered.” and the subhead says “Hand-carved linocut gig posters for small venues and bands. Commissions open to the list first.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Linocut Print, you replace Linoleum Press with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.

Design details

Linocut Print is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a near-black accent (#0c0a09) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with hard-edged brutalist blocks, kept quiet behind the copy; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Brutalist layout, shared with 39 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Linocut Print's own.

How it compares

Within Monochrome, Linocut Print stands out for its near-black accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Onyx Minimalist flips to a dark near-black canvas with a white accent and an animated single line layer (“Black field, white sliver”). Pure Black is also light but leans on a near-black accent and cascading glyph rain (“Black on white. Nothing else”). Pure White flips to a dark near-black canvas with a white accent and a swirling portal (“White on black. Nothing else”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
