About the Half Orc template
Half Orc strips fantasy down to brutal essentials—mid-grey with blood-red punctuation, no apologies, no sparkle. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Tuskhall, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “A gym built like a war camp.” and the subhead says “Strongman training in a raw, torch-lit warehouse. Lift stones, drag sleds, earn your name.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Half Orc, you replace Tuskhall with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Half Orc is a dark template: a dark grey background (#404040), white type (#fafafa) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 9.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with storm clouds and flashes of lightning, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Brutalist layout, shared with 39 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Half Orc's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Half Orc stands out for its red accent on a dark grey ground. If it is not quite right, Halfling Pipe flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and low rolling fog (“Smoke ring, hobbit hill”). Dragonborn Red is also dark but leans on a red accent and glowing embers rising (“Scaled hide, breath fire”). Dragonborn Blue is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and gently falling snow (“Cobalt scale, frost breath”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
