About the Conservatory template
Conservatory transports you to a Victorian glasshouse: dark forest-green background with warm brass accents and pale green text evoking ferns behind glass. Botanical illustrators, plant-obsessed brands, and heritage garden organizations use this palette creating enclosed-nature sanctuary. Dark green feels like looking through glass at growing things, while brass speaks to 19th-century metalwork, merging botanical reality with romantic imagination.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Glasshouse, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Rare plants for serious collectors.” and the subhead says “A greenhouse club shipping rare tropicals with care guides written by botanists. Monthly drops, tiny quantities.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Conservatory, you replace Glasshouse with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Conservatory is a dark template: a deep teal background (#022c22), light emerald type (#a7f3d0) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.8:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with leaves tumbling through the frame, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Glass layout, shared with 82 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Conservatory's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Conservatory stands out for its vivid amber accent on a deep teal ground. If it is not quite right, Observatory is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and constellations that join star by star (“Brass telescope, dome”). Monastery Cell is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and flickering candlelight (“Stone, candle, cross”). Cathedral Organ is also dark but leans on a brown accent and shafts of light falling through the frame (“Pipe array, choir loft”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
