What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Keepstone, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Stay a night in a real castle.” and the subhead says “Curated overnight stays in restored castles and towers across Europe. Narrow windows, wide views.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Donjon Keep, you replace Keepstone with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Donjon Keep is a dark template: a dark grey background (#404040), off-white type (#e5e5e5) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.2:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shafts of light falling through the frame, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Donjon Keep's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Donjon Keep stands out for its vivid amber accent on a dark grey ground. If it is not quite right, Library Ladder is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and dust motes floating in the light (“Rolling brass ladder”). Marbled Endpaper is also dark but leans on a brown accent and veined marble swirling (“Swirled book lining”). Quill Ink flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black vermilion accent and ink blooming through water (“Feather pen, inkpot”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
