What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Stonewatch, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Guardians for your front door.” and the subhead says “Hand-carved stone gargoyle planters and doorstops for gardens that need a little menace.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Gargoyle, you replace Stonewatch with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Gargoyle is a dark template: a dark grey background (#404040), off-white type (#e5e5e5) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.2:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling rain streaks, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Gargoyle's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Gargoyle stands out for its vivid amber accent on a dark grey ground. If it is not quite right, Stained Glass is also dark but leans on a violet accent and gem-like facets catching the light (“Rose window, jewel light”). Typewriter Desk flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black vermilion accent and an animated pages layer (“Underwood No.5, draft”). Absinthe Green is also dark but leans on a vivid green accent and drifting magical motes (“Spoon, sugar, fairy”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
