What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Leadlight, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Stained glass, from your first cut.” and the subhead says “A beginner stained glass kit with pre-cut pieces, patterns and video lessons. Your window, glowing by Sunday.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Stained Glass, you replace Leadlight with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Stained Glass is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1c0e02), cream type (#fef3c7) and a violet accent (#a855f7) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with gem-like facets catching the light, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Stained Glass's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Stained Glass stands out for its violet accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Typewriter Desk flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black vermilion accent and an animated pages layer (“Underwood No.5, draft”). Absinthe Green is also dark but leans on a vivid green accent and drifting magical motes (“Spoon, sugar, fairy”). Old Money is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and Art Deco fans and sunbursts (“Hunter green, brass clasp”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
