What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches The Seal, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Membership by invitation only.” and the subhead says “A private writing circle for novelists. Weekly critique, candlelit meetups and a strict rule of discretion.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Secret Society, you replace The Seal with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Secret Society is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1a0a06), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 17.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with flickering candlelight, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Letter layout, shared with 77 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Secret Society's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Secret Society stands out for its vivid amber accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Archive Dust flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and dust motes floating in the light (“Dusted shelf, parchment”). Midnight Study is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and soft out-of-focus bokeh lights (“Desk lamp, sleeping cat”). Dean Office is also dark but leans on a brown accent and an animated pages layer (“Mahogany desk, brass plaque”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
