About the Library Burgundy template
Library Burgundy evokes leather-bound volumes and wood paneling: deep burgundy-black background with warm brass accents and pale cream text mirroring candlelit library shelves. Academic publishers, rare book dealers, and dark academia enthusiasts populate this palette signaling erudition and exclusivity without condescension. Brass-and-burgundy feels Old Money in the best way—aged, weathered, valuable—and Qubed's custom domains let waitlist feel like an actual library invitation.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Oxblood, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Research notes worthy of the stacks.” and the subhead says “A research-notes app for PhD students that links every quote to its source, page and margin thought.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Library Burgundy, you replace Oxblood with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Library Burgundy is a dark template: a deep red background (#3f0a0a), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated pages layer, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Letter layout, shared with 77 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Library Burgundy's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Library Burgundy stands out for its vivid amber accent on a deep red ground. If it is not quite right, Parchment Serif flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and ink blooming through water (“Aged paper, ink quill”). Oxford Oak is also dark but leans on an amber accent and flickering candlelight (“Wood-panel walls, brass”). Gothic Ink is also dark but leans on a red accent and flickering candlelight (“Black-letter type, candle wax”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
