What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Quorumdesk, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Board meetings, minus the scramble” and the subhead says “Quorumdesk pulls your metrics, notes, and decisions into one clean board pack, drafted days before anyone asks for it.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mist Grey, you replace Quorumdesk with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mist Grey is a light template: an off-white background (#e7e5e4), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a dark grey accent (#3f3f46) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with low rolling fog, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mist Grey's own.

How it compares
Within Essentials, Mist Grey stands out for its dark grey accent on an off-white ground. If it is not quite right, Minimal flips to a dark deep blue canvas with an indigo accent and slow-morphing gradient blobs (“Clean, centered, focus-on-the-form”). Sharp Dawn flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a vivid vermilion accent and a rising sun and warm light (“Pre-sunrise blue, sharp orange”). Calm Sky is also light but leans on a sky blue accent and clouds drifting past (“Pale blue, soft cobalt”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
