What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Dust Cover, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Blow on it, then press play” and the subhead says “A weekly podcast digging into forgotten late-90s cartridge games, the studios behind them, and why the fog was always there.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. Design details
N64 Grey is a dark template: a dark grey background (#525252), white type (#fafafa) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 7.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with dust motes floating in the light, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are N64 Grey's own.

How it compares
Within Retro / Gaming, N64 Grey stands out for its red accent on a dark grey ground. If it is not quite right, Synthwave Sunset is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and the odd shooting star (“Neon grid into the horizon”). PS1 Polygon is also dark but leans on a light violet accent and gem-like facets catching the light (“Wobbly textures, low-poly”). PS2 Blue is also dark but leans on a vivid blue accent and soft out-of-focus bokeh lights (“Memory card blue boot”).
