What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Plotling, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Grow a tiny farm on your balcony” and the subhead says “Seasonal seed boxes with pots, soil, and pixel-art planting guides, so city dwellers can harvest something real every month.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Stardew Valley, you replace Plotling with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Stardew Valley is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), brown type (#3f2f0e) and an emerald accent (#16a34a) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with leaves tumbling through the frame, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Stardew Valley's own.

How it compares
Within Retro / Gaming, Stardew Valley stands out for its emerald accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Synthwave Sunset flips to a dark deep violet canvas with a vivid pink accent and the odd shooting star (“Neon grid into the horizon”). Terraria Pixel flips to a dark near-black vermilion canvas with a vivid amber accent and an animated pixel loot layer (“Block dirt, sun gold”). Risk of Rain flips to a dark deep sky blue canvas with an emerald accent and falling rain streaks (“Roguelike teal, drift”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
