About the Steam Navy template
Friend lists glowing on old computer screens, library blue suggesting countless volumes catalogued with precision—this retro-gaming template uses dark-navy background (#0c1f3d) with cyan accent to channel the aesthetic of 1980s computer labs and early dial-up. Pale cyan text appears as though printed on phosphor monitors, creating that nostalgic glow-tube effect. Retro-gaming studios, vintage-computer collectors, and 8-bit nostalgia communities will claim this palette; real-time analytics render as ASCII dashboards tracking players arriving.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Shelfkeep, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “All your games, one quiet shelf” and the subhead says “A desktop app that pulls every launcher, ROM folder, and archive into one searchable library, with notes on where each came from.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Steam Navy, you replace Shelfkeep with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Steam Navy is a dark template: a deep blue background (#0c1f3d), pale cyan type (#cffafe) and a vivid cyan accent (#06b6d4) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with floating UI panels, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Steam Navy's own.

How it compares
Within Retro / Gaming, Steam Navy stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a deep blue ground. If it is not quite right, Synthwave Sunset is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and the odd shooting star (“Neon grid into the horizon”). Twitch Purple is also dark but leans on a violet accent and floating hearts (“Stream chat, hype train”). Discord Blurple is also dark but leans on a blue accent and bouncing equalizer bars (“Voice channel hum”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
