What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Polar Shell, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Code by firelight, north of everything” and the subhead says “Polar Shell is a week-long cabin retreat in Lapland for people building command-line tools, with sauna breaks between pairing sessions.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Nord Terminal, you replace Polar Shell with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Nord Terminal is a dark template: a dark blue background (#2e3440), pale blue type (#eceff4) and a cyan accent (#88c0d0) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 10.8:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with gently falling snow, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Nord Terminal's own.

How it compares
Within Terminal, Nord Terminal stands out for its cyan accent on a dark blue ground. If it is not quite right, Gruvbox Dark is also dark but leans on a vivid orange accent and glowing embers rising (“Retro warm, comfy mono”). Dracula Violet is also dark but leans on a light violet accent and bats flitting past (“Vampire purple shell”). Monokai Pro is also dark but leans on a light amber accent and an animated code editor layer (“Crispy mono, syntax warmth”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
