What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Inkcite, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Write the paper. Citations sort themselves.” and the subhead says “Inkcite is a plain-text editor for academics that formats citations, cross-references, and bibliographies as you type.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Solarized Light, you replace Inkcite with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Solarized Light is a light template: a cream background (#fdf6e3), deep cyan type (#073642) and a sky blue accent (#268bd2) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 12.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated typewriter layer, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Solarized Light's own.

How it compares
Within Terminal, Solarized Light stands out for its sky blue accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Nord Terminal flips to a dark dark blue canvas with a cyan accent and gently falling snow (“Polar night, frost cyan”). Gruvbox Dark flips to a dark charcoal canvas with a vivid orange accent and glowing embers rising (“Retro warm, comfy mono”). Dracula Violet flips to a dark dark blue canvas with a light violet accent and bats flitting past (“Vampire purple shell”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
