What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Greasemonkey, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your garage, finally digital.” and the subhead says “A maintenance log for car and motorbike tinkerers with parts lists, torque specs and service reminders.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Gear Grease, you replace Greasemonkey with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Gear Grease is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), white type (#fafafa) and a mid grey accent (#a3a3a3) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with turning gears, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Brutalist layout, shared with 39 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Gear Grease's own.

How it compares
Within Industrial, Gear Grease stands out for its mid grey accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Weld Arc is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated sparks layer (“Arc flash, dim shop”). Shipping Container is also dark but leans on a red accent and an animated containers layer (“Maersk red, sea salt”). Oil Rig is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated smoke layer (“Black gold, steel platform”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
