About the Gridlock template
Gridlock layers asphalt-gray (#1c1917) with traffic-yellow accents (#fbbf24) and light text—evoking urban infrastructure and warning systems. This Industrial template courts DevOps, logistics, and infrastructure-focused audiences. The color scheme reads serious and essential, no flourish. Real-time analytics let you monitor traffic patterns to your page the way a city monitors its grid: granular and actionable.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Laneshift, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Beat traffic before it starts.” and the subhead says “A commute planner that learns your route and tells you when to leave to dodge the jam.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Gridlock, you replace Laneshift with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Gridlock is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), off-white type (#e5e5e5) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with a pulsing dot grid, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Brutalist layout, shared with 39 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Gridlock's own.

How it compares
Within Industrial, Gridlock stands out for its vivid amber accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Safety Yellow is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated hazard layer (“Hard hat, caution stripe”). Hi-Vis is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated hazard layer (“Reflective vest, road work”). Warehouse Floor is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated conveyor layer (“Polished concrete, line paint”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
