About the Wet Road template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Puddlecam, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Film the city when it rains” and the subhead says “A video app that spots wet streets and neon reflections, then color-grades your night drives into moody cinematic clips.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Wet Road, you replace Puddlecam with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Wet Road is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), pale pink type (#fbcfe8) and a vivid pink accent (#ec4899) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling rain streaks, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Wet Road's own.

How it compares
Within Vaporwave, Wet Road stands out for its vivid pink accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Mood Drive is also dark but leans on a light pink accent and rolling waves (“Coastal night, pink drift”). Midnight Pool is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and underwater light caustics (“Pool water, deep tile”). Neon Palms is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and an animated palms layer (“Pink palm, blue glow”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
