About the Mardi Gras template
Mardi Gras layered deep purple with carnival gold and seafoam accents—a palette that tastes like beads, beignets, and brass bands. Event platforms, festival-marketing startups, seasonal hospitality ventures, and New Orleans-adjacent cultural organizations use this to signal celebration as cultural tradition, not corporate team-building. Every element glows like parade floats. Share custom domains (festival.yourcompany.com) across tourism boards and event-planning networks. Your real-time analytics reveal which travel communities and festival enthusiasts drive most celebratory energy. This template suits anyone making joy a community practice.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Paradekit, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your parade, planned together.” and the subhead says “Costume ideas, float building guides and group coordination for carnival krewes and street parades.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mardi Gras, you replace Paradekit with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mardi Gras is a dark template: a deep violet background (#1e0a3c), pale emerald type (#bbf7d0) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling confetti, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mardi Gras's own.

How it compares
Within Seasonal, Mardi Gras stands out for its vivid amber accent on a deep violet ground. If it is not quite right, Spring Bloom flips to a light pink-tinted white canvas with a vivid pink accent and petals drifting down (“Crocus pop, snowmelt”). April Shower flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a sky blue accent and falling rain streaks (“Soft rain, umbrella”). May Flower flips to a light cream canvas with a red accent and petals drifting down (“Tulip rows, sun”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
