What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Potionworks, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Realtime backends that heal themselves.” and the subhead says “Potionworks gives you presence, channels and supervised processes for multiplayer apps, restarting failures before anyone notices.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Elixir Purple, you replace Potionworks with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Elixir Purple is a dark template: a dark indigo background (#1e1b4b), pale violet type (#e9d5ff) and a violet accent (#a855f7) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shafts of light falling through the frame, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Elixir Purple's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Elixir Purple stands out for its violet accent on a dark indigo ground. If it is not quite right, OCaml Camel flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and shifting sand dunes (“Type-strong sandstone”). Nim Yellow flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black accent and layered mountain ridges (“Efficient yellow, expressive”). Kotlin Purple is also dark but leans on a light violet accent and a network of nodes linking up (“JetBrains purple, idiomatic”).
