What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Explicit Mode, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Systems talk with nothing hidden.” and the subhead says “Explicit Mode is a podcast where systems programmers walk through real code, tradeoffs and allocators, one honest episode at a time.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Zig Orange, you replace Explicit Mode with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Zig Orange is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), pale orange type (#fed7aa) and a vivid vermilion accent (#f97316) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 12.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with circuit traces lighting up, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Zig Orange's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Zig Orange stands out for its vivid vermilion accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Elixir Purple is also dark but leans on a violet accent and shafts of light falling through the frame (“Functional violet, BEAM hot”). OCaml Camel flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and shifting sand dunes (“Type-strong sandstone”). Nim Yellow flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black accent and layered mountain ridges (“Efficient yellow, expressive”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
