About the lazygit template
lazygit channels the visual language of version control—hunk green and diff red against a git-dark background, instantly familiar to any developer who has squinted at terminal diffs. This template speaks Git fluently, suiting open-source projects, developer tools, and engineering teams. The color pairing creates semantic clarity: green means go, red means attention.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Hunkpick, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Turn one messy diff into clean commits” and the subhead says “Hunkpick is a keyboard-driven terminal app for splitting sprawling changes into tidy, reviewable commits, hunk by hunk.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use lazygit, you replace Hunkpick with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
lazygit is a dark template: a deep blue background (#0d1117), light sky blue type (#c9d1d9) and an emerald accent (#22c55e) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 12.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with stacking geometric blocks, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are lazygit's own.

How it compares
Within Terminal, lazygit stands out for its emerald accent on a deep blue ground. If it is not quite right, Telescope Find is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and a slow-twinkling starfield (“Picker prompt, cyan match”). Fish Shell is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and small fish swimming past (“Friendly autosuggest grey”). Binary Rain is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and cascading glyph rain (“Falling 0s and 1s. Sister to Matrix”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
