What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Tickwell, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your stats, in glorious seven-segment” and the subhead says “Tickwell is a pocket-sized LCD desk display that shows live repo stars, sales, or step counts in chunky digits.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use LCD Screen, you replace Tickwell with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
LCD Screen is a light template: a green background (#bef264), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a near-black accent (#0c0a09) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with drifting pixel blocks, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are LCD Screen's own.

How it compares
Within Y2K, LCD Screen stands out for its near-black accent on a green ground. If it is not quite right, Zen Chrome is also light but leans on a mid grey accent and ripples spreading across still water (“Minimal silver, soft Y2K curves”). Plasma Lamp flips to a dark near-black blue canvas with a vivid pink accent and a network of nodes linking up (“Magenta arcs in glass globe”). Frutiger Aero is also light but leans on a vivid cyan accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Glossy bubbles, blue sky”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
