What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Versehouse, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Publish your poems properly.” and the subhead says “A small-press poetry platform that prints beautiful chapbooks for new poets. Submissions open to the list first.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Poet Corner, you replace Versehouse with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Poet Corner is a dark template: a brown background (#3f1f10), cream type (#fef3c7) and a brown accent (#a16207) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated pages layer, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Poet Corner's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Poet Corner stands out for its brown accent on a brown ground. If it is not quite right, Scholar Pen flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black vermilion accent and ink blooming through water (“Fountain pen, blot”). Donegal Tweed is also dark but leans on a brown accent and threads of gold weaving through (“Heather mix, wool jacket”). Fellow Robe is also dark but leans on a red accent and flickering candlelight (“Black gown, hood crimson”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
