What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Inkblot Academy, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Handwriting, reclaimed.” and the subhead says “A handwriting course for adults with printable drills and a fountain pen starter set. Slow, satisfying, beautiful.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Scholar Pen, you replace Inkblot Academy with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Scholar Pen is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), charcoal type (#1c1917) and a near-black vermilion accent (#1c0e02) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with ink blooming through water, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Letter layout, shared with 77 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Scholar Pen's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Scholar Pen stands out for its near-black vermilion accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Donegal Tweed flips to a dark deep green canvas with a brown accent and threads of gold weaving through (“Heather mix, wool jacket”). Fellow Robe flips to a dark near-black canvas with a red accent and flickering candlelight (“Black gown, hood crimson”). Exam Hall flips to a dark brown canvas with a vivid amber accent and dust motes floating in the light (“Wooden desk row, silence”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
