About the Everforest template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Fernlight, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Light your desk like a forest floor” and the subhead says “Fernlight is a monitor bias lamp that shifts through soft, mossy tones across the day to keep long sessions comfortable.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Everforest, you replace Fernlight with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Everforest is a dark template: a dark sky blue background (#2d353b), light orange type (#d3c6aa) and a green accent (#a7c080) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 7.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with a swaying forest silhouette, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Everforest's own.

How it compares
Within Terminal, Everforest stands out for its green accent on a dark sky blue ground. If it is not quite right, Nightfly Blue is also dark but leans on a light blue accent and fireflies blinking in the dark (“Cobalt night, gentle”). Ayu Dark is also dark but leans on an orange accent and scrolling terminal output (“Ink with citrus accent”). Codespace Dark is also dark but leans on a sky blue accent and an animated code editor layer (“Cloud IDE charcoal”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
