About the Watercolor template
Watercolor abandons digital uniformity for hand-painted imperfection—soft cream washes with lime-green pencil details suggesting watercolor paper and organic media. Artists, design tool makers, and craft brands find natural home here; the palette reads as analog authenticity in a digital context. Custom domains let your art brand exist as its own web gallery.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Washday, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Paint without the cleanup.” and the subhead says “A tablet watercolor app with real pigment physics. Colors bloom, bleed and dry like the real thing.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Watercolor, you replace Washday with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Watercolor is a light template: a yellow-tinted white background (#fefce8), dark green type (#3f6212) and a vivid green accent (#84cc16) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 6.8:1 contrast ratio against the background, which clears WCAG AA for body copy. Behind the copy the page animates with watercolour washes bleeding together, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Watercolor's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Watercolor stands out for its vivid green accent on a yellow-tinted white ground. If it is not quite right, Art Deco flips to a dark near-black canvas with a vivid amber accent and Art Deco fans and sunbursts (“Gold geometry on black”). Origami is also light but leans on a vivid sky blue accent and folding origami shapes (“Folded paper, sharp shadows”). Minimal Marble is also light but leans on a brown accent and veined marble swirling (“White stone, gold veins”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
