Post-apocalyptic fiction fans, survival-game studios, and anyone finding beauty in civilizational collapse gather here where the color palette itself suggests hope flickering in bunker darkness. The retro-tech aesthetic makes waiting feel like hacking a fallen civilization's secrets. Real-time analytics become your Pip-Boy readout, tracking vault occupancy rates.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Shelterlog, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your notes, in glorious phosphor green” and the subhead says “A retro terminal notes app that syncs markdown files, runs fully offline, and hums like a bunker computer from another era.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Fallout Green, you replace Shelterlog with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Fallout Green is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), light emerald type (#a7f3d0) and an emerald accent (#22c55e) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with CRT scanlines, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Matrix layout, shared with 16 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Fallout Green's own.

How it compares
Within Retro / Gaming, Fallout Green stands out for its emerald accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Synthwave Sunset is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and the odd shooting star (“Neon grid into the horizon”). Cyberpunk Yellow is also dark but leans on an amber accent and glitch slices and RGB shifts (“Night City neon yellow”). GTA Palm flips to a light pale pink canvas with a vivid pink accent and an animated palms layer (“Vice City palm, sunset”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
