About the Stillsuit template
Stillsuit draws directly from Frank Herbert's Dune: dark charcoal base with tan-and-bronze accents evoking water-harvesting suits of Arrakis. Science fiction enthusiasts, speculative publishers, and immersive game studios land here to world-build before a single word is read. A referral leaderboard encourages your community to spread the desert-themed gospel, recruiting fellow inhabitants of your fictional universe.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Dropkeep, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Every drop, accounted for” and the subhead says “Dropkeep is a smart meter clip that shows household water use by the minute and flags leaks before they get expensive.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Stillsuit, you replace Dropkeep with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Stillsuit is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), cream type (#fef3c7) and a brown accent (#a16207) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shifting sand dunes, kept quiet behind the copy; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Star Wars Galaxy layout, shared with 23 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Stillsuit's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Stillsuit stands out for its brown accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Orange Catholic is also dark but leans on a vivid vermilion accent and flickering candlelight (“Sacred amber, distant duty”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
